Wedding gazebo serving Kampala couples

WID funded this project as a way to help the First Presbyterian Church in Kampala become self sufficient.  The gazebo, which is conveniently located just steps from the church, is rented out to the bride and groom��for their wedding celebration reception and for wedding party photographs. The beautiful view of the countryside from the gazebo provides a lovely backdrop for both.
Weddings in Kampala, Uganda are no different than the weddings in the United States. There is a formal church ceremony, proceeded by a reception by the bride and groom and their families.  The bride wears the traditional white wedding gown, the groom a tux, and the bridal party all wear beautiful attire for the wedding celebration.
