Sudan
Word in Deed team members visited a remote village in southern Sudan in 2009 to learn more about the needs of local residents. While there, they helped raise a water tower which will bring running water to hundreds of people who currently have no access to clean water. To the right, a local resident climbs into the sweltering well to assist placement.  WID is currently assessing how to build relationships and help bring food and water to associates currently residing in this country.
