Uganda has been the heart of Word in Deed’s ministry since the 1980′s.   Over sixty churches have been established in and around the Kampala area that serve urban and remote communities in the Lake Victoria area.  Growth around these churches continues, and some communities now  include schools, orphanages, piggeries and medical clinics. 

WID helps bolster the economy of many villages by funding projects using local workers, supplies and businesses.  Those served by WID eagerly await repeat visits from old friends and continue to welcome new team members into their communities and homes.
